The Alamo - San Antonio, TX
What a cool place to visit. The Alamo is right in the center of San Antonio. It's really not
what I expected. All around it is Art Deco buildings with Shops, restaurants and the River
Walk is close by. Lots of Neon lights. I felt like I had stepped back in time. We were there
really late on a week night, and People from all over are visiting. Good Clean Fun.
If you look to the Lower left of the Photo. You can see a Brass line in the stone. Legend
has it that Lieutenant Colonel Travis on March 2nd, 1836 drew a line in the sand on this
spot with his sword, and invited all of those willing to fight to the death to defend the
Alamo, to Cross it. All but a french soldier named Moses Rose did, including Davy Crockett.
Of course you know the rest of the story... Remember The Alamo !!!
