America's Most Beautiful City Hall in the Moonlight - St. Augustine, FL
St Augustine, has it all ! Centuries Old Castle, well a Fort, an old Town dating back to
1565, Lots of History, Plenty of Ghost Stories and America's Most Beautiful City Hall.
The Building is the former Hotel Alcazar built in 1887 in the Spanish Renaissance style by
railroad magnate Henry M Flagler. The hotel closed in 1932, it now houses the City Hall and
the Lightner Museum which is an alter to the Spenders of America's gilded age during the
Victorian period.
As you approach the front of the Building there is a huge Courtyard with this cool water
fountain, a beautiful garden and a fish pond with a stone bridge. Palms all around.
We sat there and admired all the history here, with those Purply angry skies and howling
at the moon. Then it was off for Mojito's...
