Bonita Beach Sunset between the Rain Drops
I have always been a storm chaser. It's funny how bad weather sometimes brings out the best in your photography.
One weekend
we found ourselves running late On one our trips to the Florida Everglades. Driving south on I-75 at
maximum velocity during a
ferocious storm. Hoping to catch the sunset in Naples before a long weekend in the Big
Cypress Preserve, time was running short.
We looked at the time and knew we had to find a spot for sunset Fast. I
looked at Lori and said I have not been to Bonita Beach in
20 years at least, I think we can make it.
15 minutes later we were waiting for the clouds to break under one of the many pavilions right at the end of Bonita
beach Rd.
The clouds broke moments before Sunset and revealed one of the most Spectacular Sunsets I have ever
seen. The beach
was loaded with people, everyone broke out clapping when the Sun finally set. Mother nature sure
knows how to put
on a Show. This was my most memorable sunset.
