Snowy Egret doing acrobatics chasing tadpoles - Largo Botanical Gardens, FL

In the Spring, our fair feathered friends are frisky and hungry. When the tadpoles begin
filling all the ponds at the Largo botanical gardens, the birds begin putting on an aviary
show like none other.

My favorite is the Snowy Egret. They appear to almost magically dance across the water.
Dragging their feet on the top of the water as they go. Then as fast as you can snap your
fingers, she grabs a tadpole and is off for shore.

I caught this gal grabbing breakfast...
