Redfish Lake in the Moonlight - Sawtooth Mountain Range
With The full Moon appraching, I have been chomping at the bit to get to the
Mountains for some Moonlight Photography. We worked lots of OT so that Sunday I could travel to Stanley and visit Redfish lake.
We had dinner in Stanley then headed back to Redfish Lake for Sunset. It was the most beautiful Sunset since we arrived in Idaho. The stars came out and we waited for the moon to rise to about the 11 o’clock position. After previous unsuccessful attempts, I knew this shot would take a minimum of 20 minutes of shutter time to expose the shot. The really bright white streak above the mountains in Venus setting in this time lapse photo.
At the Bottom I placed the Awesome Sunset.
I cannot wait to set up a Moonlight / Sunset shoot of the whole Sawtooth range, Hopefully Soon…
