America’s Most Beautiful City Hall in the Moonlight - St. Augustine, FL
St Augustine, has it all ! Centuries Old Castle, well a Fort, an old Town dating back to 1565, Lots of History, Plenty of Ghost Stories and America’s Most Beautiful City Hall.
The Building is the former Hotel Alcazar built in 1887 in the Spanish Renaissance style by railroad magnate Henry M Flagler. The hotel closed in 1932, it now houses the City Hall and the Lightner Museum which is an alter to the Spenders of America’s gilded age during the Victorian period.
As you approach the front of the Building there is a huge Courtyard with this cool water fountain, a beautiful garden and a fish pond with a stone bridge. Palms all around.
