Stopping by with Breakfast, White Heron with a Tadpole - Largo Botanical gardens, FL
In spring of 2007, We discovered the great bird show at the Largo Botanical Gardens.
Birds zooming here and there, gobbling tadpoles and Frogs. White Herons are also known as Egrets.
The White Herons / Egrets are especially fun to watch. They go round and round like the keystone cops. Normally solitary feeders but the Botanical gardens this year was flush with frogs. When that happens I guess all bets are off. Fighting over their little piece of real estate around the pond, It looks like world wrestling federation out there. A Photographers Dream shoot, A Circus of birds. This guys looks like he’s bringing me breakfast…
